Producer and friend of SJFM Corcovado showed me this EP from Mexico City based producer Mama Testa. The EP is framed as a Mexican interpretation of UK Funky and Garage, or "the search of a new context for guarachas and dembows, attempting to futurize them." The Corcovado remix late on the EP is well worth checking out.
I like the title "friend of SJFM." It's got a good ring to it
